The Redmond Family Room

The home is an older custom build that needed some updating. The main feature in this room is its 2- story family room and the intricate wood working! However, its character wasn't being fully displayed. The before fireplace was too short for the room and the wood tone was overpowering. I enhanced its elegance by taking the fireplace all the way up to the ceiling and wrapping it in stacked stone. The lower half wood walls were painted, and the built-ins were showcased using a lovely blue paint.
